Has anyone been keeping up with the "DEED Theft" scam that's going on targeting the elderly? The documents to transfer the property are fake, a total fake and they are getting the notary to stamp it based on correct Id...and then the courts are filing them as a property transfer as the admin is not responsible for for seeing the document on a level other than stamping its date and filing. but the name verification needs a step two if they will not allow the notary to investigate, and do we want that responsibility anyway?
